last submission

I guess it's time to make this post and I figured the re-drawing of the next page is a good way to do this I guess?

In 2006 I joined DeviantArt. At the time is was an amazing place. I've learned so much from here and never would have made it this far without my friends and fans.

I can no longer be here anymore and I mentioned few years back that I'd be looking for a new place to go and post my work. I've found that place, and once I think of a good new account name, I'll officially be moving there.

This does not mean the end of Wolf Song. Honestly, it's the beginning. I started my art classes four weeks ago and am taking my first steps towards becoming a professional artist. My professors are amazing, I've already learned so much and am learning how to draw things I never thought I could. They're extremely supportive and recognize my raw abilities and are completely willing to work with me and make my dream a reality. I've already gotten commissioned for quite a few freelance art opportunities. I am actually making money off of my talents and know now that I'll be able to turn this into a career.

That being said, of course I'll still be drawing and working on my comics. I will still post Wolf Song pages here, but that's all this account will be used for. I've simply outgrown DA. I came here at 13 and now at almost 21 I need a new place where I can start over from the beginning and push my way up. All of my old idols I have surpassed, I've mastered their techniques and skills. There's no room for me to get any better without a fresh start, it's as simple as that.

I'll post a journal with more details later, but until then enjoy this sketch of Coal from the next page. In a matter of 5 minutes this basic outline of her character was completed. It used to take me an hour to get this far. I can feel myself improving, I can see myself learning.
